The Field Safety Device by Hunter Firearm Safeties is a molded rubber insert that fits between the trigger and rear of the trigger guard of most any small and medium-frame DA revolvers to prevent the trigger from being pulled. The device is suitable for use on some DA automatics as well and can be modified to fit S&W automatics fairly easily by trimming the top section. The unit is quickly disengaged by popping it out of the trigger guard before squeezing the trigger. Users of trail guns and law enforcement will find an application for the Field Safety Device to prevent accidental or unauthorized discharged of firarms.
