.Bubba Davis
Bubba
alternates between an Emmons push pull and a new Mullen pedal steel guitar. He has a great
band and is the type of picker you can sit and listen to all night. He is considered by
the other steelers and guitar players in the area as the very best around. He usually uses
a digital delay effects unit and a stereo chorus played through 2 Nashville 400 amps. He
has a flawless and tasteful style of playing and a tone that some of us seek but
never find.
Bubba Davis is originally from the Hampton Roads area. He started out in
the late 60's playing for his sister in a country band called "The Right
Combination". He still has that band today, appearing every week end to a packed
house at "Miss Kitty's" in Virginia Beach, Va.
Make it a point to stop by and hear Bubba and his band at Miss Kitty's for the best in
country music...you'll be glad you did!!
Bubba has won the VCMA's "Instrumentalist of the Year" a
few years ago.
His Tuning is E9th outside neck and C6th inside neck.
