Pedal Steel Guitar Players of Hampton Roads, Va.

Dan Crelin and his Mullen Pedal Steel
Dan Crelin - Originally from Trenton, New Jersey, now makes his home in Richmond, Virginia. Dan plays a Mullen D10 with 8 and 4 through a Peavey Nashville 1000 amp with no effects at the present time. He has been playing for 4 ½ years and is considered one of the best by all who hear him. Dan started with a band called "Brushfire" in New Jersey, then with "Southern Reign" also a N.J based band. After moving to Virginia he has played with the area's top bands including "Nite Shift", "High Cotton", "Mark Daniels", and "Laredo". He recently started playing with WGXI's "Hometown Music Hall Broadcast." The station is AM 950 out of Richmond.

Dan is a multi-talented individual playing Bass, Guitar, Keyboards, and of course his favorite...Pedal Steel!

Still a Pink Floyd fanatic.... Dan now plays predominately Country these days....well...he might slip in a few Floyd licks on his steel once in a while!

His tunings are E9th and C6th with his favorite player being Tommy White on just about everything.
Favorite Instrumental: " Down To My last Cigarette" by Hal Rugg.

If you want a musical treat....do yourself a favor...go hear Dan Crelin and that smooth sounding Mullen!
